League is over and now knock out teams are decided.

I went to see the match on Sunday as I thought I might see two well fought matches, but was a bit let down by the lack of persistance from Bulls & Monsters. The match between them was the lowest scoring match in the SPL so far. It was surprising to see people were not trying to give their 100%.

Here I would like to mention the extra ordinary dedication shown by Sanjeev Ranjan, who not only played for his team despite his injury but also put his more than 100% effort to put his team in some respectful total and then came with a splendid spell of 3 wickets. One catch he took of his own bowling was a delight to see.

The dismal fielding performance by the Power Rangers let them down and Rakesh Pant showed his cool temperament to take the game away from the Rangers by staying not out with a score of 42. He handled the pressure created by the Rangers by putting a respectful total of 76 out of which Haider got 56. Haider has also shown the class he possesses.

Now the Semifinals are coming round the corner and I am eagerly waiting to catch the excitement. Let us hope for equally contested matches and a great final. :)

Finally the BULLS are into the semis, what a luck and team work. But yes, in this low scoring match, Sanjeev did showed great effort and once he made it look like Monsters will take away. But in 7th over Bulls were able to chase and win the match.

But poor PISTONS who were not in this match but their eyes were staring on this match as they wanted Monster to win but will lo margin which would have taken them in semis but it was BULL who made it.

CONGRATS to BULLS

It was really disappointing on the part of monsters as to not giving their 100% on this crucial situation, win's and losse's are something that certainly may depend upon luck, but the desire to win is that is needed from beginning of the match, which was certainly not there with monsters, they never played to win. Though Sanjiv's efforts are appreciated but, one man cannot win the game for you as it is a team game and group of people have to perform rather than individual. Anyways they are a strong team and we hope to see action from them in next SPL.
For ROCK'S 77 was a huge total and pressure on them was right from the first over when HH came to bowl(though not visible :)), but as rightly said by "Humble Opinion" that Keep it kool, that is very Important and Rocks stick to that, scoring was steady but I suppose the turning point of the match was the Six by Neeraj Thakur, which released the pressure in a single ball, and then the journey was easy for the Rocks.

All in all we all are having good times and spirit of smartData is clearly visible in the field also, where all teams are struggling hard to chase the target: SPL throphy
